Sancerre
The protected designation of origin Sancerre is one of the most known among appelation of the Center Val de Loire thanks to the grape variety world-famous of the White Sauvignon who allows to produce our Sancerre Blanc.
This appelation about 2 770 hectares is concentrated on 14 municipalities and produces three colors Blanc, Rosé and Rouge thanks to the grape variety of Sauvignon Blanc for her whites and the Pinot noir for its rosés and its rouges.
The vineyard is established on hills and well directed, exposed and protected hillsides which the soils are diversified particularly well and called according to their pedological characteristic. We find three terroir determined by the type of met ground there is Calcareous or « Calcaire » (or caillottes), argilo-limestones or « argilo-calcaire » (or Earth Blanche) and clays with flint « argiles à silex ».
Tasting :
For the Sancerre, its aromas translate most of the time floral notes up to the fruity notes such as citrus fruits (grapefruit, pomelos) up to the notes of flint which are determined by the grounds on which the vine grow.
White wines are of color pale green-gold and are dry but they generally have rather round mouths and balance on the freshness. Red wines have a beautiful dress cherry and their smell is floral. They are well-balanced wines, with the power and the sharpness.
Rosé wines are dry and fine, rather fat.

Tasting :
This appelation has soils which confers on vines a good regularity of production and quality. It is translated in our wines by subtle aromas at the very beginning and which by aging give floral notes, fruity and smoked. The more vines age, the more our wines are capable of aging and so of producing special vintages.

Menetou-Salon
The controlled label of origin Menetou-Salon is produced around the commune of the same name, north-east of Bourges, the vineyard of Menetou-Salon owes its birth and fame to the proximity of this ancient medieval metropolis.
His wine was appreciated at seigneurial table of Charles VII’s great silversmith, Jacques Coeur. The vines cover 590 hectares in two agricultural regions: Pays-Fort-Sancerrois and Champagne berrichonne. Here, sauvignon subtly restores the expression of the terroir of marl and kimmeridgian limestone through fresh and fruity white wines. Sweet red wines are a more recent production.
On the tasting side:
For the Menetou-Salon blanc, Sauvignon is full of intense aromas: orange or orange blossom, quince, blackcurrant, fresh apple, mint, honey and spices. Pinot Noir offers cherry and violet aromas for reds and gives fresh and light wines for its rosés.
The white wines have aromas of citrus, white flowers, pepper, mint, and a mouth that is fresh, fruity, round, full and of beautiful length. The red wines have a ruby color, with aromas of ripe fruit, cherry, plum, and a supple, rich palate.
The rosé wines have aromas of white fruit and dried fruit, with an elegant and subtle palate.
